Immune Testing

All autoimmune diseases are centered around one key factor: your body attacks itself, more specifically your immune system.

Many studies show that the autoimmune antibody can be elevated in the blood for up to 10 before symptoms occur.

This test helps determine if there is increased permeability to the blood brain barrier (BBB) which is a physical barrier formed by the arrangement of endothelial cells and tight junctions that line the capillaries which supply blood to the brain.

Alzheimer’s-Associated Immune Reactivity | Alzheimer’s LINX Lab Test

An important aspect of Alzheimer’s disease that is highly overlooked is the breakdown of the blood-brain barrier (BBB).

This test assesses overall production of Immunoglobulin G, Immunoglobulin A and Immunoglobulin M in the body — an important measurement of general immunity.

Array 2 is an antibody assessment of the intestinal barrier integrity and bacterial endotoxins (lipopolysaccharides), tight-junction proteins (occludin, zonulin) and cell cytoskeleton (actomyosin) and identifies both transcellular (through the cells) and paracellular (between the cells) routes of intestinal barrier penetration (leaky gut) by large molecules with a capacity to challenge the immune system.

This array is used to screen for potential autoimmune (immune attack on our body) issues that are typically seen in the pancreas (type 1 diabetes). This array can be used as an initial test or a follow-up to Cyrex Array #5 (multiple autoimmune screens).

Array 7. Assists in the early detection of neuro-autoimmunity and can help valuate severity of the autoimmune response in various neurological conditions such as ataxia, neuropathy and demyelinating conditions.
